Odrán is an experienced communications professional specialising in strategic communications, media relations, content development and stakeholder engagement.

He has more than 10 years’ experience across journalism, public relations and communications, combining a strong understanding of the media with extensive experience advising organisations on how to tell their stories clearly and credibly.

As Client Manager at Brown O’Connor, Odrán leads client programmes across a range of sectors, developing strategic communications, media campaigns, thought leadership, stakeholder engagement, and compelling content that delivers results. He brings a strong journalistic perspective to his work, with over seven years’ experience in journalism, including as an editor with two all-island politics and policy magazines and experience with The Irish News and RTÉ.

His experience spans business, housing, hospitality, economic development, professional services, public bodies and community organisations. Odrán works closely with senior leaders and subject matter experts to turn complex issues into clear, accessible messages that engage audiences, and generate positive media coverage. He has expertise in media relations and content creation, including press releases, opinion pieces, feature articles, briefing materials, and digital content.

He also provides strategic advice on issues management and reputation, helping clients identify opportunities, anticipate challenges, and communicate with confidence.

He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and holds a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management from City and Guilds’ Institute of Leadership and Management.
