Radius Housing opens latest phase of landmark Lagmore development

Radius Housing has celebrated the completion of the latest phase of its flagship Lagmore development, marking another significant milestone in a long-term investment that has delivered high-quality social housing for families across West Belfast.
The latest phase, comprising 43 new homes, was officially unveiled by Lord Mayor of Belfast, Councillor Róis-Máire Donnelly at an event held on 20 August at Lagmore. The latest phase of Lagmore was completed in March 2026 at a cost of £8.6 million, bringing the total investment in the Lagmore development to approximately £26 million.
Delivered in partnership with Toland House Properties, the six-phase development has transformed the area through the creation of a vibrant, mixed community centred around a landscaped green space designed to encourage recreation, play and community interaction.
Across the six phases, Radius Housing has delivered 154 new social homes, comprising 120 general needs houses, 26 general needs apartments, and eight wheelchair-accessible houses and bungalows.
The latest completion represents another step in Radius Housing's long-standing commitment to increasing the supply of modern, energy-efficient homes in communities experiencing sustained housing demand.
The completion of the latest phase reinforces Radius Housing's commitment to investing in communities across Northern Ireland and delivering high-quality homes that support healthier, stronger and more sustainable neighbourhoods.
Lord Mayor of Belfast, Councillor Róis-Máire Donnelly said:
